Underground Chattanooga clipping file

Below you’ll find the Chattanooga Public Library’s clipping file of Underground Chattanooga. These are newspaper and media clippings mention the Underground directly or activity suggesting that streets were once raised.

Just over the last 20 years much of this information has been proven to be inaccurate. And some of the clippings from the 1880s offer important clues to the work that was done.
